This page outlines our service guarantees, general terms and conditions, and important disclaimers applicable to our plumbing services. By engaging our services, you agree to these terms in full. We are a licensed and bonded contractor under California State License Board C-36 License #975722. All work is performed in compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations.

Please note that for home improvement projects exceeding $500 in value, California law requires a written contract that includes detailed descriptions of the work, materials, payment terms, and other required elements. These terms supplement but do not replace any written contract between you and CrackerJack Plumbing Pros.

Our Service Guarantees

At CrackerJack Plumbing Pros, we stand behind our work with the following guarantees. These guarantees are designed to provide peace of mind and reflect our commitment to quality service. Each guarantee is subject to the limitations described below and is offered in good faith, provided that the original service was performed by our team and paid for in full. Guarantees are non-transferable and apply only to the original customer. To invoke a guarantee, please contact us promptly via the email or phone number on our website. We reserve the right to inspect the work and determine eligibility at our sole discretion.

Repair Remorse Guarantee

We understand that sometimes, after opting for a repair, you may decide that a full replacement or a more extensive option would better suit your needs. For any repair service exceeding $750 (excluding taxes and fees), if you choose to proceed with a full replacement of the system (such as piping, HVAC, or related components) performed by CrackerJack Plumbing Pros within 30 days of the original repair, we will credit up to 75% of the original repair cost (labor and materials) toward the replacement.

Limitations: This guarantee applies only to the same system or component originally repaired. Credits are applied at our discretion and cannot exceed the cost of the replacement. This does not cover additional upgrades, unrelated services, or costs incurred due to customer modifications. Proof of the original repair invoice is required.

Cleaner Than We Found It Guarantee

We pride ourselves on professionalism and respect for your property. Our team strives to leave your home or workspace cleaner than we found it after completing the job. If you notice any mess, debris, or damage caused by our team (such as spills, footprints, or minor property damage), we will address it at no additional cost to you.

Limitations: You must notify us within 48 hours of job completion. We require the opportunity to inspect and remedy the issue ourselves or through a contractor we select. Claims submitted by homeowners for self-performed cleaning or repairs will not be honored. This guarantee does not apply to pre-existing conditions, normal wear and tear, or areas outside the scope of our work.

Fix It Fast or It’s Free Guarantee

We know that plumbing issues can disrupt your life, so we prioritize quick resolutions. Once we diagnose the problem and provide a repair proposal, we guarantee to begin the repair work within 48 hours to get your system operational again. If we fail to start within this timeframe due to our scheduling or availability, we will waive the labor charges—you pay only for materials used.

Limitations: This guarantee applies only to standard repairs and does not cover full system installations, custom fabrications, or situations where required parts have a lead time exceeding 24 hours (e.g., due to supplier stock or logistics issues beyond our control). Delays caused by customer unavailability, permitting requirements, weather, or force majeure events are excluded. We define “start” as the arrival of our team with necessary tools and materials to begin work.

General Terms and Conditions

The following terms apply to all services provided by CrackerJack Plumbing Pros. These are in addition to any specific terms outlined in your service contract or invoice.

  1. Payments and Down Payments: In accordance with California law (Business and Professions Code § 7159), for home improvement projects over $500 requiring a permit, the down payment shall not exceed $1,000 or 10% of the contract price, whichever is less. All payments must be made as specified in the contract. Failure to adhere to the payment schedule may result in suspension or termination of work, and we may charge interest on overdue amounts at the maximum rate permitted by law.
  2. Sales and Returns: All completed service sales are final. If a return of unused materials or products is authorized by CrackerJack Plumbing Pros in writing, a restocking fee of $200 will apply. No returns will be accepted for materials or products that have been installed, used, modified, or damaged in any way.
  3. Right to Cancel: You have the right to cancel the contract within three (3) business days from the date of execution (or five (5) business days if you are 60 years of age or older, or in cases involving declared disasters, as per California law). Cancellation must be in writing and sent to our business address via mail, email, or fax. The notice must include your name, address, and the date you received the contract. If canceled properly, any down payment will be refunded in full. Failure to cancel within the designated period makes the contract binding.
  4. Warranties and Claims:
    We are pleased to offer a 1 year workmanship warranty on all work provided by CrackerJack Plumbing Pros.
    Additional warranty coverage is limited to the terms explicitly stated in your contract or invoice. Determinations regarding warranty service, including eligibility and remedies, are at our sole discretion. In the event of a dispute, our decision is final and binding. We disclaim all implied warranties, including but not limited to merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for any consequential, incidental, or indirect damages arising from our services.
  5. Licensing and Compliance: CrackerJack Plumbing Pros is licensed under California State License Board C-36 License #975722. All work complies with applicable regulations. We may subcontract portions of the work to qualified professionals as needed.
  6. Agreement to Terms: By accepting our services, scheduling an appointment, or making payment, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions in full. These terms may be updated periodically; the latest version is available on our website.

Legal Disclaimers

  • Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of San Diego County, California (or the appropriate jurisdiction based on our business location).
  • Limitations of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, CrackerJack Plumbing Pros shall not be liable for any indirect, special, punitive, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use, lost profits, or property damage beyond the direct scope of our work. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question.
  • Force Majeure: We are not responsible for delays or failures due to events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, strikes, supply shortages, or government actions.
  • Severability: If any provision of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full effect.
  • No Waiver: Failure to enforce any term does not constitute a waiver of that term.
